Natural Resources Staff Professional

NATURAL RESOURCES STAFF PROFESSIONAL: CHARLESTON, SC

WPC, Inc. is a dynamic, award-winning firm in the Southeast. we are seeking a self-starting Natural Resources Staff Professional with 1-3 years of environmental permitting experience to join our Charleston, SC branch.  

You can also expect to:

• Prepare multi-faceted permit applications;
• Prepare restoration and mitigation plans;
• Prepare stormwater management permitting and inspections to meet NEPA regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources or Civil Engineering, along with significant experiene conducting wetlands permitting and threatened and endangered species surveys, a must. Environmental consulting experience in South Carolina is essential and a working knowledge in other Southeast states is a plus. Excellent communication and cognitive skills are essential to the success of the position. This position requires a desire to work in a team-oriented environment with a mixture of field and office work.
