In 2002, Wright Padgett Christopher, Inc. expanded its geographical area by opening full service offices in Myrtle Beach, SC as well as offices in Savannah, GA and Charlotte, NC. During this transition, the firm became an employee owned company and the name was changed to WPC, Inc. to better represent its employee ownership and growing recognition beyond the Charleston area. WPC opened an office in Columbia, SC in 2005 and Wolf Technologies, based in Jacksonville, FL, became a WPC Company in early 2006 and currently operates as Wolf/WPC. In 2007, WPC began offering Subsurface Utility Engineering services to clients. WPC currently supports six offices with a staff of over 200 project professionals, registered engineers, and PhD’s along with the state-of-the-practice technology currently available to the engineering industry.
Although WPC’s growth has been significant, we have strived to maintain a personal touch with our clients and employees. Our founders and principals remain actively involved with projects directing their expertise toward providing technical excellence and maintaining high standard of performance. The mission at WPC is to provide our clients with professional engineering services tailored to exceed their expectations while providing an exceptional value for those services.
