WPC staff provided permitting and compliance assistance for a paper manufacturing facility for over 10 years. As a result of a wastewater spill into the municipal sewer system, WPC engineers responded immediately, providing consultation and preparing a comprehensive spill response plan within several days in order to meet the municipalities demanding schedule. WPC staff worked almost continuously over a four day period assembling the required information and preparing materials for a local meeting that resulted in allowing the plant to remain in operation while upgrading their environmental compliance.
