WPC was contracted to identify sources of Indoor Air Quality contaminants for seven structures on the campus of South Georgia College. The baseline investigation included visual inspections, microbial air and swab sampling, moisture sampling and instant physical sampling for ambient conditions. WPC was able to identify pollutant sources, their pathways, and driving forces that may contribute to poor air quality.

Microbial air and particulate dust air samples were collected, in addition to measuring ambient air conditions in and around the buildings. Analytical testing was completed with our Trak Pro Indoor Air Quality Datalogger in the buildings to measure temperature, relative humidity, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide.  WPC also visually inspected the buildings and their contents. Data collection included samples from the interior breathing air throughout each building.  Control samples were also collected to determine if biological amplification was occurring within the breathing air in the buildings. Additionally, particulate dust air samples were collected throughout all seven buildings included in the survey.
